As I mentioned in my last journal entry, I have every intention of giving Perceptor a more detailed history than the one provided in TFA. As such, I'm going all the way back to his training. Above all, I hope to give a reason to explain why he would have gone so far as to delete his emotion and personality coding in order to make more room for data and processing. Hopefully, my explanation will be satisfactory.

At the moment I am working to script out the first chapter's worth of the comic. Last night I had something occur to me: I have a lot of classmates and other bots to design. As such, I would like to open this part of my comic to anyone on DA that might have, or would be willing to make an OC that would be appropriate. Most likely, the character will show up as a cameo or through the duration of a brief scene, but depending on a few things, I might request permission to use them in interactions with Perceptor and the other main characters of the comic. This means of course I will consult with the owner about the personality of the bot in particular and whether or not certain lines or actions would be appropriate.

OCs:
1) Should be from the Great War period.
2) If the OC is an Autobot student: should be a sciencebot or medbot.
3) If the OC is an Autobot teacher: should be a teacher of scientific or medical courses.
4) If the OC is a Decepticon: he/she may be harmed!

My reasons for opening the comic are simple: It would be a lot of fun for me, and hopefully for you all, to see TFA creations from other artists in the comic, and it saves me a little work in my designing task to be quite honest.

So, if you have any characters or intend to create an OC that would suit the parameters described above, please comment on this journal entry to let me know! There is still a wide time frame in which to notify me, as I have yet to finish moving and the chapter one script is still in the works. I have however started sketch practice on the characters, so the sooner I learn about other designs, the more time I will have to practice drawing them before the comic begins.

Now to get back to finding a new apartment to move into before summer is out...in a distant city...I know very little about... Yes, I'm moving and then moving again in another month or so for graduate school.... Eep.
